Amazon eGift Card

Find out how to solve the most common issues with using your Amazon eGift Card.

Amazon codes are region-specific, so they will only work on the Amazon website of the country they were purchased for. 

Example: Amazon.de codes will only work on Amazon.de, the German Amazon website. If you bought a code for the wrong country, you will have to visit that country's Amazon store to use it.

To see which country your code is for, please refer to the delivery email you received from us. The product you bought is named at the top of your redeem instructions and has the corresponding regional Amazon domain listed there. You can always go to the corresponding Amazon website and use your gift card there.

When you receive this error message after trying to redeem your Amazon code, it indicates that it has already been used. Please ensure you did not already use this code on a different Amazon account and never share these codes with any third parties. You can always contact Amazon Customer Service for more information if you can't remember which account you used it on.

Amazon has strict security measures in place. They might block you if you are trying to:

- Redeem too many Amazon codes at once.

- Use a VPN.

- Have more than one account.

- Buy costly products with your gift card balance.

Only Amazon Customer Service can help you directly to get to the bottom of your issue. Please contact them for help to access either your blocked code or account.

Google Play Store eGift Card

Google Play Store changed its Terms & Conditions in 2021, making it impossible to use VPN to redeem cards in another country or currency on your account. This led to some issues with the use of Google Play gift cards. Read here how to solve them.

This error message  doesn’t necessarily mean that your code was already used. It is also displayed when you enter the code again, before the credit was processed to your account. If the problem remains after a few hours, and you didn’t share the code with anyone else, contact Google Play Customer Support directly. They will be able to tell you why your account does not accept the code. In case you have multiple accounts make sure you have not redeemed it to another one.

 

Google Play upholds strict security rules to prevent fraudulent use of its products. Only Google Play Support can tell you exactly why your code was blocked after you received a valid one from us. It might be because your VPN was active or because their security system found some other suspicious activity that requires some form of verification. Make sure to give them your Google Play code and state the issue for them to help find the solution quickly.

Google Play Gift Cards are region-locked. They can only be used in the country, and currency, they were purchased for. Once you’ve tried to redeem the code, it’s already linked to your email address. In that case you have to reach out to Google Play’s Customer Support for help. Please understand that due to their nature, digital products that were delivered valid cannot be refunded, nor returned. You could however, try to change your Google Play country settings, but be aware that you can only do this once a year and that it can take up to 48 hours to update. If that doesn't work for you, consider gifting or reselling the gift card to someone you know, who can redeem it.

We are sorry this happened, no one wants to find themselves with a card they cannot use! That is why we always recommend double-checking the country you are buying the product for before purchase.
